Bondsman Renewal Checklist

The Renewal Application for all bondsman types will be available April 1^st through June 30^th of each year respectively. The below steps may be taken to maintain compliance:

Step 1

Apply for your South Carolina renewal license (The application period opens April 1^st and closes June 30^th). There will be no renewal extension granted per SCDOI

• Complete your renewal application for licensure at www.NIPR.com        
• Fee
  • $400 Professional Bondsman
  • $200 Runner
  • $0 Surety Bondsman
  • $5 NIPR processing fee added for all license types
    
    

Step 2

Register for fingerprinting (The renewal application must be submitted prior to fingerprinting)

• Register at https://www.identogo.com/locations/south-carolina
• $51.75 for fingerprinting cost
• This includes your SLED and FBI background check
• Email a copy of your Identogo fingerprint receipt ([e-mail])
