Proctor – A disinterested third party, with minimum age of 18 years old who can be any person except for family members or individuals who have a financial interest in the student’s success on the exam. Co-worker proctors must not be above or below in the student’s line of supervision.
Your proctored exam will be taken through our online course and will require you to have a third party witness sit with you while you take the proctored exam. A disinterested third party witness is someone who isn't a family member, hiring manager, or individuals who have a financial interest in the student’s success on the exam . Some good examples of a third party witness but not limited to are your neighbors, a co-worker, friend, or your local librarian. Your proctor will be required to sit with you for the duration of your exam.
South Carolina will require you and your proctor to sign an Affidavit form prior to or after you have finished and passed your exam. These forms will be provided for each student automatically within the online course material. These forms will be completed remotely through Docusign to ensure the affidavit has been signed by both the student and the proctor.
